About Rick Burgess
Rick has over 25 years experience in the entertainment industry and is a member of the NAA, National Auctioneers Association. Rick has been a Master of Ceremonies (MC) for over 3000 events throughout his career. In the early 80's he wrote, directed, and was "the voice" in various radio and TV commercials in Colorado until moving to the Los Angeles area in the late 80's. As recently as 2010, Rick was awarded the prestigious "Best Of" award for Orange County by "The Knot" for his professional MC abilities.
Rick's entertaining and fun style will have your guests feeling good about their participation and donations. It's not surprising Rick is rehired as the auctioneer by the same clients year after year.
In this economic downturn in the last few years, it is even more important to have a professional auctioneer at your benefit or charity event. Our First Meeting
When we meet for the first time, I will come to understand all of the details of your organization and financial goals for the event, as well as what you have done in the past that seemed to work (or not work) for your group. It is important for me to know every detail of your cause so that on the night of the auction I can relate to everyone attending.

- "Double Bid" sale - selling the same item twice to the last two highest bidders

Day of Fundraiser
Arrive one to two hours before the event starts to review program and any changes.
